Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State has been flown abroad
for further medical treatment after sustaining ‘minor injuries on his
forehead’ in a car accident on Friday.Mr. Okorocha was on his way to inspect projects in the state when a Mercedes Saloon car ran into his motorcade.
In a statement issued, Saturday, Chinedu Offor, the Commissioner for Information, Culture, and Tourism, stated that the state governor had completed his scan and his doctors announced that there was no internal bleeding, fracture of the skull, swelling, or vision problems.
